IKON rims are some of the lightest Carbon rims available for BMX racing today but the strength wasn’t sacrificed to get them to this feather weight. Made from Toray produced T700 Carbon Fiber weave, our rims feature special matte finish, with glossy water decals, while using a “UD” Carbon Fiber Weave construction. This type of Carbon is one of the top of the line Carbon Fibers produced today and this brand of carbon weave is the leader for producing hi-end products and is one of the most technological advanced fibers.

Both rims feature a mat natural Carbon Black with a Water Transfer Graphic, giving you one of the best looking and lightest rims for BMX racing made today!

20" Junior/expert Carbon fiber Rims

When we offer a product, we want it to be the absolute best product that we can manufacture. We are slowly releasing new items, after they meet our high standards and exceed the needs of todays top Pro riders. IKON are now offered 20” Junior/Expert carbon rims, with 28 or 36 holes.

Our new 451 carbon fiber rims weight in at under 285 grams for the 28 holed rim and 277 grams for the 36 holed rim version. A comparable Alloy rim with the same size/width weights in at 370 grams a rim, letting you save up to 200 grams / 7 oz when using a set of our 451 rims !

Nothing has been spared to create some of the best parts for BMX racing and we are proud to have one of the top Carbon Fiber rims, used by 3 time USA BMX Champions Connor Fields and Joris Daudet.

Our 406 carbon fiber rims weight in at 300 grams for a non brake surface rim and 305 grams for the brake track surfaced rim. A comparable Alloy rim with the same size/width weights in at 390 grams a rim, letting you save up to 180 grams / 6 oz when using a set of our 406 rims !
